I didn’t really have much involvement in sport when I started here in the SACU office but fast forward almost 16 years and Motorcycle sport is now a big part of my life. Until recently I enjoyed many weekends at East Fortune and Knockhill and look forward to the day when racing will return for us all.

Until recently I enjoyed many weekends at East Fortune and Knockhill and look forward to the day when racing will return for us all.

I have two grown up children at home who have both grown up with their Mum working at the SACU for most of their lives so the SACU has been a constant in their lives too. My son James came to work for a week in the office when he was at school  and enjoyed it very much.  I have had the privilege in the last 16 years of meeting and working with many people which I love, I am very much a peoples person.  I always endeavour  to do the best I can for the riders and their racing and the Office. I have seen many changes over the years within the SACU and I am proud and excited to be playing a part in the launch of our new GoMembership license system and our new website. My role within the SACU and motorcycle sport is a big part of my life, long may it continue. New and exciting times ahead for us all.

After graduation, I worked at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games as part of the Sport Competition team coordinating and developing the aquatics events. Following this, I worked as a club development coordinator before joining the SACU as their development officer in 2016. I gained my Motorsport Performance Coaching qualification… Read more

My focus is to aid the SACU to become recognised as more than just a ‘permitting authority’ by implementing a strong strategic plan for future growth, development and long-term sustainability with license holders, clubs and wider members at the centre of all decision making

Since the age of 18 I have always been involved in the sports industry. I first began as a volunteer coach with multiple football teams whilst completing various SFA coaching badges. I then went on to gain my BSc Hons in Sports Coaching at University as well as my Level 3 Personal Training Qualification. During my time at University, I was lucky enough to complete various placements with Active Schools and within my local council performing a wide range of different sporting roles such as disability coach, sports coach and development coach.

I am very excited to be a part of the SACU team! My aim is to focus on growing the SACU as a strong governing body as well as working with all clubs and volunteers to aid in the development of the long-term strategic plans in place
