SACU TEAM TRIAL 9TH OCTOBER
RESULTS – CLICK HERE
Amazing Team Trial at Aberfeldy!! We had 24 teams competing and all thoroughly enjoyed their day. The burns were just perfect; the track and moor crossings spectacular; the sections had enough challenge without being crippling and even the sun shone! Team spirit was high, as some of the team names reflected, and the banter was interesting!
Coffee was served all day by ‘ Bonnie Mountain Coffee Land-Rover’ and pies from ‘Gourlay Catering’ finished off the day nicely.
Every team brought an observer and they need a very big thank you for their part in making the trial a success. Thank you also to the landowners who allow us the use of their
land, to the local residents, the officials, the club members, who work hard preparing the ground and setting out the trial and to Rab Paterson, Clerk of the Course, for leading the team.
Congratulations and well done to all those who took part for making it a ” team trial to remember” !

Perth and District Aberfeldy Trial – 11th Sept
Results
What a brilliant trial! Great to be back in Aberfeldy. Even the sun shone! Some cracking new and re-developed burns, good stretches of moor and track – riders enjoyed the longer than usual lap length and no one ran out of fuel! Thanks to the Landowner, our observers and our team who set up the trial. We were all well catered for by Bonnie Mountain Coffee Landrover and Gourlay Catering who supplied the usual, much sought after pies!
We look forward to holding the Team Trial on 9th October on this same area of ground and hope that all clubs will put in a good number of team entries. Check for details and updates on our Facebook page “Perth and District Motorcycling Club” . See you there.

Perth and District 3rd July 2016 Round 4 of the SACU Trials Championship

|
A Great Trial! Just the perfect place and the right mix of sections to make a really good Championship. The fresh Burns were amazing, the Boulder field tricky and the new ‘whale’ section, of big steps and tight turns, were interesting!! Riders felt that their route offered each of them the right level of challenge, difficulty and achievability to keep them on their toes ( and hopefully on the foot rests). Lots of tired but happy faces!! Thanks for all the positive comments. The day was rounded off with hot pies (Gourlay Catering), amazing coffee (Bonnie Mountain Coffee Land-Rover) and some great chat around the days events and scores. Many thanks to the Landowner, the Observers, the organising team, Gourlay Catering and Bonnie Mountain Coffee Land-Rover who all helped make the trial a great success.

A bright sunny Glen Nevis welcomed round two of the ‘Highland Leisure’ 2016 Scottish Trials Championship hosted by Lochaber & DMCC. The recent dry spell meant there were no problems crossing the River Nevis to access the sections, so low in fact that the OSET fraternity were witnessed crossing on their little 16” and 20” bikes.
