Manx Grand Prix
Adam Easton, 71, who was a popular competitor at the Manx Grand Prix has died after crashing at Lambfell on the approach to Cronk-Y-Voddy, during the 500cc Classic Grand Prix Race, when he was running in 16th place.
Adam was an experienced competitor who first raced at the Manx Grand Prix in 1983, when he competed in the Classic Junior Race
He was originally inspired to race by the exploits of a fellow Musselburgh man, Jock Finlay, who had won races in the Isle of Man and swapped his road bike for Finlay’s Manx Norton in 1983 and had been racing it ever since.
The SACU Office send their condolences to Adam’s family, he was well liked by everyone and will be greatly missed.
Competition Licence - reduced price

Enduro - ISDE
The SACU ISDE Team of Ricky Mair, Neil Chatham and Frazer Norrie have
returned from the ISDE in Finland where they placed 9th in the Club Team
Class - our best ever result and a testament to the determination of the
riders.
Ricky Mair won his MX final in great style and pushed hard all week despite
several setbacks to finish on Silver. Neil Chatham finished on Gold despite a loose wheel nut and sticking throttle amongst some of the problems he encountered. Frazer Norrie also finished on Silver despite riding for most of one day with a completely broken rear shock. His determination to finish was just
what we expected from this young rider who is still only 19 years old.
Team Manager Sam Davidson did a great job in preparing the team and managing the checks at night to ensure they had the resources to make it to the end.
A tremendous team effort and one to really make Scotland proud
